The new Vapor T.R.A. is born from a scaled Vapor mold. This Lithium construction junior ski is built to kindle the competitive fire and allow our mini rippers to progress faster than ever. Seeking the perfect blend of cross course speed and controlled drag into the turn, our design leader, Matt Rini (who has been honing juniors into World Champions for 30 years) let the creative juices go to work on this new shape. Fast where it needs to be, and more stable than you can imagine. Not just shorter but specifically redesigned to break down barriers and help foster the next wave of junior buoy-chasers.

Goal one for the redesigned Vapor series was capitalizing on waterflow efficiency throughout the entire length of the ski. With particular emphasis on the waterflow entry point, Matt Rini started at the very tip of the ski and worked his way back. Finding the perfect marriage between top rocker (the bend of the ski you see on the top surface) and the tunnel rocker (the path the tunnel of the ski takes as it arcs up toward the tip) is critical in creating a predictable, balanced platform to stand on as the tip dives into the turn. Stability is king when you need to rip a turn, and the new Vapor delivers.
