Goal one for the redesigned Vapor series was capitalizing on waterflow efficiency throughout the entire length of the ski. With particular emphasis on the waterflow entry point, Matt Rini started at the very tip of the ski and worked his way back. Finding the perfect marriage between top rocker (the bend of the ski you see on the top surface) and the tunnel rocker (the path the tunnel of the ski takes as it arcs up toward the tip) is critical in creating a predictable, balanced platform to stand on as the tip dives into the turn. Stability is king when you need to rip a turn, and the new Vapor delivers.
